What we will do

Location and focus:

We will be collecting data on Peebles Island, located just south of Waterford. The idea is to try to determine the depth of the gravels which cover much of this island.

Schedule and Transportation:

Our first attempt will take place Friday, April 3.

It's best to start early, so please try to be in the lower parking lot by West Hall (the one outside the classroom) no later than 8AM. We will leave as soon as we are loaded up. If you have your own transportation you are welcome to drive there yourself. Let me know if you plan to do this.

General Tasks:

The major tasks will the the collection of gravity and magnetic data at first; we'll do seismic next time.
