Our story so far:

The first 15 station installation of PASO began about 12 July, 2000 and, with the exception of a few equipment problems, was completed by the end of July. Lee Powell supervised a maintenance run in September. In October, Lee, along with a crew from RPI (Steve, Mitch, and Mike) and the radio experts extraodinare from UCSD (Glen Offield and his faithful sidekick Edwardo) managed to convert 14 of the 15 stations (MATZ is the exception) to telemetry. Steve went back for a short maintenance run in mid December, and Glen returned in mid January. Steve went again in mid February to swap Matz and switch BUMP and HOTF over to the VCR cell. The Tachyon satellite dish was installed during this trip as well.

The next scheduled visit is late March. Stay tuned.

The figure below shows the locations of all seismic stations operating in the Parkfield area. Red triangles are the PASO stations, blue squares are the Berkeley HRSN stations, and the green circles are USGS CalNet stations.
